Contact Beyond Contact — Facilitators Training Course

Contact Beyond Contact (CBC) integrates dance, somatics, yoga, qigong, and healing modalities to harmonize Body, Mind, Heart and Spirit (SOMA). The practice cultivates a safe, respectful space for authentic expression, trust, and transformation while honoring personal and interpersonal boundaries. CBC combines Authentic Movement, Contact Improvisation and Passing Through with mindfulness, energy work, behaviour principles, and somatic philosophies to create an embodied path of insight and compassionate action.
What the Level 1 course offers:
- Deep somatic movement practice with solo, duet, and group improvisation
- Integration of healing and spiritual practices into movement facilitation
- Training in facilitation, holding space, and transpersonal leadership
- Practical tools for designing rituals, sound journeys, and class structures
- Ongoing peer support via our private online CBC | FTC community
During the course you will receive and learn:
-Training in Dance Techniques, Somatics, Embodiment and expressivity through movement.
-Training in Transpersonal Leadership for facilitation, holding space and developing the field of practice or the work you are in.
-Empowerment and confidence in who you are and confidence in sharing your gifts to the world.
-A deep understanding and embodiment of how to hold space for others.
-Embodying the art of discernment - Letting Go / Perseverance
-Enhancing your love for the self and others - True Compassion
-Four interpersonal behavior values for building constructive relationships and clear career paths.
-Embodiment in dance, movement, somatics and energy work.
-Experience in leading, opening and closing rituals for specific purposes of your event.
-Build deeper communication between your body, mind, and heart.
-Apply somatic practices to enhance relationships at home, work, and in love.
-Embody clarity, purpose, and alignment in life.
